Instagram Login permission gaps stay connected
A missing Meta permission explains the Facebook Page workaround and no longer marks the account as needing a reconnect.
Publishing to an Instagram Login account that Meta has not approved now shows that the feature is awaiting approval and points to Connect via Facebook Page. The account keeps syncing, and the failure is logged as METAPERMISSIONDENIED so it can be counted. Comment replies for Instagram Login stay off until INSTAGRAMLOGINCOMMENTS_ENABLED is turned on. Location search uses the Facebook user who connected the Page.
