What you need to connect

DEEP Socials uses Meta’s official APIs. Personal Instagram and personal Facebook profiles cannot connect for publishing — but Creator/Business Instagram and Facebook Pages are free to set up.

Instagram: Creator or Business account
In Instagram → Settings → Account type, switch to a professional account (free, reversible).
Personal Instagram accounts are not supported by Meta since December 2024.
Facebook: a Page you manage
Create a Page at facebook.com/pages/create — use your brand or creator name.
Personal Facebook profiles cannot publish through third-party apps.

These are Meta platform rules, not DEEP Socials limits. Creator accounts work with our recommended Instagram connect flow — no Facebook Page required.

Auto updates

The desktop app checks for updates on launch. You always get the same features as the web workspace.
