Mastodon is decentralised, so you choose the server. DEEP Socials signs in there and posts with that server's character limit.

Connect Mastodon in three steps

  1. 1Open Settings → Accounts → Mastodon.
  2. 2Enter your server, for example mastodon.social.
  3. 3Sign in on that server and approve access.

What you can post

  • Text (limit set by your server)
  • Up to 4 photos or 1 video
  • Language tag on each post
  • Native polls

  • Add alt text to every image. Mastodon users notice.
  • Set the post language so the right people find it.

Every post gets a receipt

When Mastodon accepts the post, DEEP Socials stores the permalink and the time. Temporary errors retry on their own. If a post still fails, you get an in-app alert and can retry, edit, or post by hand.

Yes. Mentions sync to the inbox and you can reply from DEEP Socials.
