Introduction
At Deep Socials (by WeAreDeepWorks), we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our services, including connections to Instagram, Facebook Pages, Threads, Bluesky, Mastodon, Telegram, and LinkedIn.
Information We Collect
When you connect your social media accounts, we receive certain information via OAuth tokens provided by the platforms:
- Profile Information: Username, account ID, and profile picture URL.
- Analytics Data: Performance metrics for your posts, including views, reach, likes, comments, shares, and saves.
- Content: Media and captions you choose to publish through our platform.
- Direct messages: Instagram and Messenger conversations you connect, so you can read and reply from the inbox. We store the message text, sender id, and time.
- Comments: Comments and replies on posts you manage, including the comment text, author id, and the post it belongs to. Comment automations may send a private reply you configured.
- Lead data: If you connect Lead Ads, we store the lead fields Meta sends (such as name, email, and phone) so you can follow up. We do not sell leads.
- Ads data: If you connect an ad account, we read campaign and creative status you ask us to manage. We do not run ads unless you start that action.
- AI processing: Captions, hashtags, and reply drafts you request are sent to our AI provider to generate text. We do not use your private messages to train public models.
Data Deletion & Retention
We only store information necessary for the operation of our services. You can disconnect your accounts at any time through the Connected Accounts section in your dashboard. Disconnecting stops new collection.
We keep connected-account data while the account stays connected. Message and comment copies are kept so the inbox and automations work. A valid Meta data deletion callback deletes the connected social account and the inbox messages stored for that Facebook user. Lead records are kept until you delete them or close the workspace. Server logs that may contain request ids are kept for up to 30 days. We do not write access tokens into those logs.
To request the complete deletion of your data from our systems, you can use our Data Deletion Request feature or contact us directly.
How to Delete Your Data
Per Meta Platform requirements, we provide a Data Deletion Callback URL. To revoke our access and request data deletion via Facebook:
- Go to your Facebook Profile's Settings & Privacy.
- Click Settings > Apps and Websites.
- Find "Deep Socials" and click Remove.
The status of that request is shown on the data deletion page.
